Assistant managing director Varunee Lapitananuvat said yesterday that the six new projects were both high and low-rise types consisting of 2,236 units with a total project value of Bt5.17 billion.
The high rise-projects include Sapalai Jarunsanitwong Project I with 800 units worth Bt1 billion, and Supalai Phuket City Resort with 268 units worth Bt350 million. The low-rise projects will be mostly in single-house and town-house formats, with prices ranging from Bt2.5 million to Bt5 million.
Varunee said another two new projects were still in the process of negotiation for buying the land, and are expected to be located in Bangkok's central area.
She added that 60 per cent of the portfolio for developing residential projects was currently dedicated to condominiums, in response to a higher demand for such units in Bangkok.
Another two projects have already been launched: the Supalai Park Srinakarin-Bangna condo project and the Supalai Ville Sukhumvit-Srinakarin single-detached house project, with a combined value of Bt4 billion.
Supalai yesterday reported third-quarter net profit of Bt148 million, down 45 per cent from the same period last year. Its gross margin ratio was 42 per cent, compared to 44 per cent last year.
